Create a DIY Travel Watercolor Palette

I enjoy being able to pull my watercolors out of my pocket whenever I want to and paint. I only need to bring either travel watercolor brushes and a water bowl or water brushes and a reusable towel.

Directions

If you want to use 14 colors than buy the half pans or if you only want 6-8 colors (8 is a tight fit but doable) than buy these whole pans.

Write the brand name and either an abbreviation or the actual name. Use the Packaging Tape on the masking tape to make sure that it is waterproof. Next cut the magnetic tape on the bottom of the pans. Make sure you don’t put them in the watercolor pans accidentally otherwise you won’t be able to get it out of the pans.

Either fill the pans and let them dry or put them into the altoids tin and then add fill the pans. After a few days the watercolors will dry a little bit and you will need to top them off. The only thing you need to do now is buy some travel watercolor brushes and a water container or water brushes and a reusable towel.
